Beaded Edge Milk Glass, Cup & Saucer, Two Sets, Handpainted, One Westmoreland

Description

For sale are two cup and saucer sets, at least one of which was made by Westmoreland Glassware. This glassware is renowned for durability and, with many fine examples, are easy to collect.
Each of the four pieces is hand decorated: one set (cup and plate) with pink cherry blossoms and one set with a red tulip.
The cup measures approximately 3 5/8" wide, 4 1/2" with the handle, and sits 2 1/4" high and the beaded edge saucer  is 5 1/2" wide by 5/8" high.
All four pieces are in very good condition with no damage or wear observed. The hand painted decorations are in very good condition -- bright and undamaged. The tulip saucer is marked with interwoven WG (photograph 11); the other three pieces are unmarked. Please note variations in glass color between these pieces:
when well lit, the pink flower saucer looks like milk glass, the red flower saucer has a blue hue and is the most translucent, and the cups a more of a solid white, appearing more like vitrified glass.
