    Description

    Set of 5 vintage Westmoreland Glass "Beaded Edge" 7.5" milk glass salad plates decorated with handpainted birds (WG decoration #70). It is a very hard to find decoration in this pattern. This set includes four of the eight available birds designs  including bluebird, chickadee x 2, tanager, and tufted titmouse. The beaded edge pattern with handpainting was introduced in 1953. These plates are in great like new, vintage shape. No chips or cracks, images are near pristine. Normal swirling to be expected in vintage milk glass. Westmoreland Glass WG mark or WG label is visible on several of the plates. It is normal for the WG not always to be present depending on age of the item. Experienced glass packer, will pack with care and lots of bubble wrap to help ensure safe arrival.
